Salsa Group Lessons (on request)

The classes are suitable for absolute beginners and for those who want to improve their Salsa dancing and learn new moves. The lessons enable participants to become familiar with the origins of Salsa, how to lead and follow, understand timing, tension, styling and partner work to get them dancing to a basic level.

There is usually an unequal amount of men and women in the lessons, some days no men, which is nothing to worry about because dancers without partners will benefit from practicing the moves on their own whilst concentrating on the bits they wish to improve.

The classes start with a “warm-up” to music following by approx. one and a half hour lesson after which students will practice the moves they have already learnt.

Couples will mix and change partners throughout the class so everybody will get a chance to dance with different people.
